Dr. Sagar Sengupta is cancer cell biologist. The focus of his research is on trying to understand the mechanisms of genome integrity in nucleus and mitochondria. Dr. Sengupta has used biochemical, molecular biology, imaging, cellular and in vivo methods to understand how signaling pathways crosstalk with each other during the process of cancer initiation and progression with emphasis on cancer predisposed syndromes, colorectal and breast carcinoma.
