In the past decade, researchers have explored how gratitude in the workplace affects individuals and work-related outcomes (Beck, 2016; Cain et al., 2019; Cortini et al., 2019; Gu et al., 2022; Komase et al., 2021; Lee et al., 2019). However, there is limited research on the effects of gratitude expressions between colleagues (Locklear et al., 2021). Very few studies involve gratitude interventions in academic settings, and of those, three or fewer gratitude activities have been employed.
