Pratyush Tiwary is a Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he holds the Millard and Lee Alexander Professorship in Chemical Physics. His laboratory focuses on interdisciplinary theoretical and computational research, operating at the nexus of statistical mechanics, molecular simulations, and artificial intelligence. This work aims to model and predict thermodynamics and dynamics in complex real-world systems, including addressing challenges like the behavior of drug molecules, crystal formation, and protein/RNA flexibility, with significant implications for pharmaceutical, chemical, and materials sciences. He also contributes as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Schrödinger, Inc.
